Course Information : This workshop will enable employees to prevent, identify and extinguish insipient-stage fires in the workplace using basic fire-fighting equipment. It is a hands-on, practical course in basic firefighting but also includes formal instruction on various aspects of fire and fire behaviour, fire prevention and evacuation procedures, basic fire equipment and firefighting procedures.
FIRST AID L1 (SAQA ID 119567, NQF L1, 5 CREDITS)

Course Information : This training programme will enable learners to assess an emergency situation and provide basic life support and basic first aid in order to stabilize patients prior to transfer to the emergency services. Our first aid courses are designed to help learners to work logically, efficiently and effectively when assessing and managing an emergency by using a systematic approach to first aid. It is a practical, hands-on first aid course with emphasis on learning cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an AED as well as other critical skills.
INCIDENT INVESTIGATION & REPORTING (ALIGNED TO SAQA ID 259617, NQF L2, 3 CREDITS)

Course Information : This workshop will enable employees to report incidents correctly and be part of the investigation, un-derstand the report and findings, know how to recall incidents at the HSE committee meetings and de-partmental safety meetings including how to manage and control documentation
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION (ALIGNED SANS 10220) & QUALITATIVE FITMENT TESTING (3M APPROVED FITMENT CENTRE)
Duration : 1/2 Day
Course Information : The workshop is aimed at employers , supervisor and workers who need to understand the use and care of respirators and understand breathing hazards. This workshop also includes the fitment testing of the employees respiratory mask that is used on site.
SHE REP (ALIGNED SAQA ID 259622, NQF L2, 3 CREDITS)
Duration : 2 Day
Course Information : The workshop is aimed to provide the designated representative with the ability to understand the objectives and statutory requirements pertaining to health and safety in the workplace. The representative will be able to explain the rights, powers, functions and duties of the workplace health and safety representative and how any errant health, safety and environmental issues may be handled.
FALL ARREST TECHNIQUES (SAQA ID 229998. NQF L1, 2 CREDITS)

Course Information : The credit-bearing training programme is intended for all persons who need to explain and perform fall arrest techniques when working at height.
